  • Automotive detailing, including mobile detailing.
  • Installation of Paint Protection Film (PPF).

All services are subject to availability and the specific conditions of your vehicle.

3. Authorization for Service

By leaving your vehicle with SCollective or authorizing us to perform mobile services, you grant us the right to perform the agreed-upon work. You certify that you are the legal owner of the vehicle or have been authorized by the owner to arrange for the Services. You authorize SCollective to operate or move your vehicle as necessary to perform the Services.

4. Pricing and Estimates

  • Estimates: All quotes and estimates provided are based on our initial assessment of your vehicle. The final price may vary depending on the actual work required, parts needed, and any unforeseen issues that arise during the service.
  • Additional Work: If additional repairs or services are needed beyond the initial estimate, we will contact you for authorization before proceeding.
  • Vehicle Condition: Prices for services like detailing are based on the assumption of a reasonably maintained vehicle. Surcharges may apply for vehicles with excessive dirt, pet hair, biological waste, or other conditions requiring more time and resources.

5. Payment Terms

  • Payment Due: Payment for all services is due in full upon completion of the work, before the vehicle is released from our shop or at the conclusion of a mobile service.
  • Accepted Payment Methods: We accept [List accepted payment methods, e.g., credit cards, debit cards, cash, etc.].
  • Unpaid Invoices: Invoices not paid within a specified timeframe may be subject to late fees and/or collection action as permitted by law. We reserve the right to retain possession of the vehicle until all payments are made in full.

6. Customer Responsibilities

  • Personal Belongings: You are responsible for removing all personal belongings and valuables from your vehicle before we begin any work. SCollective is not liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged items left inside the vehicle.
  • Disclosure of Information: You must disclose any known defects, damage, or weaknesses in your vehicle that may affect the services we perform. SCollective will not be responsible for pre-existing conditions.
  • Vehicle Condition: For PPF installation, the vehicle must be in a clean and acceptable state. We reserve the right to charge an additional fee or reschedule the service if the vehicle requires extensive pre-cleaning.

7. Warranties and Disclaimers

  • Limited Warranty: We offer a limited warranty on our workmanship and the parts we install for a period of [e.g., 90 days, 12 months] or [e.g., 3,000 miles, 12,000 miles], whichever comes first, unless otherwise specified. This warranty covers defects in materials or labor but does not cover damage resulting from accidents, misuse, negligence, or normal wear and tear.
  • PPF Warranty: The warranty for Paint Protection Film is provided by the manufacturer. We will provide you with the specific warranty details for the film used on your vehicle.
  • No Guarantee of Perfection: While we strive for the highest quality, services such as detailing and PPF installation may not completely restore a vehicle to a brand-new condition. Minor imperfections may remain due to the vehicle's age, condition, or the nature of the materials.

8. Limitation of Liability

SCollective will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from our services. Our liability for any claim arising out of our services is limited to the total cost of the specific service performed on the vehicle. We are not responsible for any damage caused by pre-existing conditions, or for damages that may occur during the service due to factors beyond our reasonable control, such as faulty parts provided by a third party.

9. Cancellations and Rescheduling

  • Cancellation Policy: We require [e.g., 24, 48] hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Failure to provide sufficient notice may result in a cancellation fee of [e.g., a specific dollar amount or a percentage of the service cost].
  • Mobile Services: For mobile detailing, please ensure a suitable location (with access to [e.g., water, electricity, a safe work area]) is available. Failure to provide an appropriate site may result in a cancellation fee.
